Endeavour Ship constructed by Bleddyn Jenkins
During a break on one of my recent history ferry tours, a lady introducing herself as Ann told me that her husband Bleddyn Jenkins had passed away 2 years earlier and that he had constructed a model of the Endeavour. Ann showed me a photograph and I could see from this that the hull had been very nicely constructed and she told me that her and her husband didn't have family to give the model to and would like to see it preserved and on public display, I told her that I would be very interested in doing that for her and asked her to contact me. A short time later she contacted me through my website and we arranged for her to drop the model off to me. The model is beautifully made with double plank on frame. We hope to be opening the display section of our new Central Coast Model Makers Mens Shed "history central" within 18 months. Thank you Ann for the donation and entrusting me with this ship. 24/1/2024
